Extensive Refurbishments

Whilst many were safely tucked away at home, one of the projects that we were busy working on was a full refurbishment of the hotel. Led by award-winning interior designer, Martin Hulbert, this project included remastering the lobby, Lounges, all 189 West Wing bedrooms and bringing a new lease of life to our pop up restaurant, Madhu’s at The Grove. We hope you’ll agree that all the spaces look incredible and help to create an amazing setting to work in.

Enhanced Activities

The Lounges, lobby and bedrooms weren’t the only spaces to see some changes during lockdown. Nestled inside our Walled Garden, Jemima’s Kitchen Garden was completely transformed to attract wildlife and grow the freshest produce for our chefs. We also built Anouska’s Kids Club and re-vamped Ralph’s Beach. At Asher’s Woodland Trails, we set up a new archery space and over on Gabriel’s Football Pitch, we made plans to welcome Football Escapes and their Premier League players and coaches. We’ve since hosted a range of camps, which have all been a sell out success!

Local Community Support

Last, but by certainly no means least, our team were busy forging relationships with organisations to support the local community. With the help of charities such as Home Start and Small Acts of Kindness, we were able to make use of our kitchens and deliver meals to local hospitals and vulnerable people.
