The Programme Experience

Throughout the two-year programme, Insights learners rotate across key areas within Food & Beverage and Meetings & Events Operations, developing a solid foundation in day-to-day service delivery, event operations, and team collaboration.

Learning is practical and progressive. Each rotation is supported by clearly defined learning objectives and expectations, ensuring learners build technical skills, operational awareness, and the behaviours required to succeed in supervisory roles.

What the Programme Offers

Hands-On Operational Experience

The programme provides in-depth exposure to Food & Beverage and Meetings & Events Operations, enabling learners to develop strong service skills, operational confidence, and an understanding of what excellent guest service looks like in practice.

Structured Learning & Development

Each learner receives department-specific learning objectives, supporting development in areas such as service standards, operational procedures, guest interaction, and teamwork.

Mentorship & Peer Support

Participants are supported throughout the programme by:

  • A Food & Beverage Manager Mentor, offering guidance, coaching, and operational insight
  • A Second-Year Insights Programme Buddy, providing peer support and shared experience

Progressive Responsibility & Development

As learners build experience and capability, they are given increased responsibility within their roles. The second year of the programme is designed to support progression into a Senior Waiter or equivalent supervisory position.

A Clear Route into Junior Management

The programme provides a structured pathway for individuals looking to move into junior leadership roles within Food & Beverage or Meetings & Events Operations.

Programme Structure

The two-year Insights Programme consists of structured rotations across:

  • Lounges & Glasshouse Bar
  • Glasshouse Restaurant

Each placement includes defined learning objectives and performance expectations to ensure development remains focused, consistent, and aligned with operational leadership readiness.

Progression & Next Steps

The Insights Programme is designed to build confident, capable hospitality professionals with a strong operational foundation.
